As I reviewed the LMS document, it became obvious that my past "collaborations" were lacking. I should have intervened more frequently and added to the content.  I should have insisted on critical commentary from other research sources.  I also need to  establish a rubric that clarifies what constitutes erudite commentary.  So on I go.....

I agree. Continuous improvement is necessary for on-line education. It is the development of the collaborative classroom that I believe requires significantly more preparation than for the traditional brick and mortar class. I have found that students are strong on providing opinion andt here is a need as the LMS document shows for research to support the opinion.
