FROM REVOLUTION TO MODERNISM: ART IN EUROPE 1789-1889
The nineteenth century reflects a pluralism of styles. This course focuses on some of the major European styles in painting and sculpture, including Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism ARH-0176 is preparatory but not a required. Museum study/panel discussion complement class lectures. Offered upon rotation with other courses in modern art.
