Description

The study of International Business Law is compelling in this century because of the implications and consequences associated with doing business in the global marketplace. In addition, the climate of global politics, the posture of the United States vis-?-vis other nations, and the globalization of the world's economy and markets for goods and services necessitate that the savvy businessperson acquire an understanding and a working knowledge of legal systems other than their own. This course provides the student with an expanded knowledge of some of the fundamental legal aspects associated with the study of International Business Law. Through case studies, assigned readings and application of various legal principles, the student becomes familiarized with the application of international laws to the global business marketplace.
